About Us

The Kingsway Legion Br 175 Ladies Auxiliary began with it's charter dated August 23, 1948.  Our motto is "service".  

We have an active executive and membership.  The elected executive meet the third last Tuesday September to May and the General Meetings are the second last Tuesday of the month at 12:30 PM. The Ladies Auxiliary meets monthly from September to May. 

We hold weekly meat raffles and 50/50's on Saturdays at 1PM.  We volunteer at the Legion Bingos at Kensington Bingo Hall.  Some members volunteer at the Kipnes Centre on our behalf.  We support a number of organizations through our fundraising efforts some include the Legion, our LA Command, five local Cadet Units, the Kipnes Centre, Last Post Fund, and the Poppy Fund.  We hold 2-3 fundraisers in a year. 

We are always in need of new volunteers.  Volunteering is not just about giving of your time it's about what you can gain as well.  The friendships, great conversations and laughs while doing good things for the community is one of the reasons I volunteer.  

There is no need to be related to a military member any female over the age of 18 may apply.  

Membership forms can be downloaded on this site.  Currently the annual membership fee is $35.00.   First year is free for new members to the Ladies Auxiliary.
